Caro and Sylvain: two adventure-lovers at your service

Sylvain first fell in love with Costa Rica in 1997. His family later joined him to build the Los Nancites eco-villa lodge, in a preserved area full of well-kept secrets … He’s always prepared to share his vision of the natural world and its ecosystems, but also his passion for board sports (surfing, SUP) and as a professional photographer. He’ll give you the right tips at the right time to help you discover the country with authentic activities and places seldom explored.

Caroline, a former running champion, is also deeply in love with the country. She has great organization skills, teaches yoga and is passionate about nature. She’ll be in touch with you before and during your stay to assist you with organizing things, help you choose the best flights, motivate you to get back in shape and enjoy an unforgettable vacation.

« Our main reason for exploring Costa Rica was to reconnect with a flamboyant and varied natural world. We also wanted to rediscover a form of simplicity, to get away from the noise and the crowd. Living here is consistent with our own vision of environmental protection – basically, to let it thrive all around us! And to us, it’s not just empty words: we try to take part actively, especially through reforestation in the surrounding area, but also by funding wildlife preservation NGOs. Vacationing here means you too will contribute to funding the country’s national parks and preserving the environment!

A team and select providers to enhance your stay

Passionate founders Caro and Sylvain work with a tightly-knit team of service providers. They have worked for many years with the same people, all carefully selected for their quality and professionalism.

Our staff at Los Nancites, the surf instructor, the minibus drivers or taxis they book for you, but also the nature guides, yoga teachers, restaurant and hotel owners… are all key players in a network, passionate people with a special vision of travel.

No high volumes, no large groups, no “tourist trap” activities… our common goal is to help you experience Costa Rica as we ourselves discovered and loved it.
